- half kg Meat chicken/beef/mutton
- half cup Oil you can also subst
- 1 and half Onion (Big)
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic patse
- half cup Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Cream
- 2 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder or to taste
- 3-4 Green Cardamom
- 3 piece black cardamom
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri lal mirch
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 4 to 5 Cloves
- 8-10 Black pepper while
- 1 small piece Ginger
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 10-12 Almonds
- quater tsp Jaifal
- quater tsp Javatri
- half tsp qorma essence
Steps to make to make Badami Qorma
- Slice onion and fry until golden. blanch almonds.
- Blend yogurt onion and blanched almonds, make a smooth paste. wash and soak poppy seeds then make a paste
- Grind all dry masala. In pot add half oil add meat and ginger garlic paste fry for 2 min until meat changes color.
- Remove chicken from pot in same pot add more oil and 1 piece taiz ptta whole green cardamon few cloves and black pepper pieces fry now add coriander powder red chilli powder salt to taste with splash of water and bhoonofy gently. Grind all dry masala in powder form add in meat and bhoonofy with little water gently.. then add onion and yogurt paste and poppy seeds paste
- Add meat and bhoonofy again... Now add little water and cook on low flamee.. add juline cut ginger and 2 tbsp cream cook until oil comes on top garnish with ginger and blanched almonds. Serve with sheermal
