- Ingredients for rice
- 9 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp garlic ginger paste
- 2 egg
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 1 tbsp chicken powder
- 1 tsp ginger (julienne cut)
- 3 big green chillies
- 4 tbsp green coriander (chopped)
- 3 carrots (cut into strips)
- 2 capsicum (cut into strips)
- 1 tbsp brown onion
- 5 spring onion (only green part)
- 2 cup soaked rice
- 2 cup water for cooking rice
- 1 tbsp salt
- Ingredients for chicken
- 1/2 kg chicken
- 1/2 tsp garlic ginger paste
- 4 tbsp yougard
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp (Half packet) Shan chicken tandoori masala
- Small peice coal for steam the chicken
Instructions to make to make CHINESE TIHARI (AKNI)
- In a bowl add garlic ginger paste, yougard,oil,whisk well then add chicken in this mixture n rub mixture over chicken & marinate for 30-1 hr
- In a pan add marinated chicken cover it n cook it on a low fame until water dries & chicken cook completely
- Give coal smoke in chicken n cover it with lid
- Preparation for rice
- In a pan heat cooking oil
- Add beaten egg, mix well & cook until scrambled
- Add all spices garlic ginger paste, turmeric, red chilli flakes, chicken powder, white pepper, little amount of water & stir it
- Add carrot, green coriander, green chillies & again mix well
- Add water according to quantity of yr rice
- Add capsicum, spring onion & salt at a time of boiling water
- Add soaked rice in boiling water
- When water of rice dries mix rice n sprinkle brown onion over it, cover rice with lid & put it in low flame
- Spicy Chinese tihari (akni) is ready sprinkle some spring onion over it at a time of serving
