  2. 1 cup Paste of (2 onions - 1 inch ginger - 2 cloves garlic)

  4. 6 tbsp Oil
  5. 2 nos Cloves
  6. 2 nos Cinnamon pieces
  7. 2 nos Cardamom
  8. 1/2 tbsp Asafoetida
  9. 2 tbsp Red chilly powder
  10. 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  11. 1 tbsp Turmeric
  12. 1 tbsp sugar
  13. 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  14. 2 cups water
  15. 2 tbsp Cream
  16. Salt as per taste

Instructions to make to make Parwal Korma

  1. Wash the Parwals with clean water, dry them and peel off half of them and cut them in half. Now add turmeric and salt to the parwals and keep it covered for 15 minutes
  2. Meanwhile, prepare cashew nuts paste, ginger-garlic-onion paste and other spices.
  3. Now, in a nonstick pan, heat 4 tbsp oil, add the prepared parwals, cover with lid and let it rise for 5 minutes, then remove the parwals.
  4. Now, add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and ginger-garlic-onion paste in the remaining oil and saute till it turns pink. Then mix cashew paste and remaining spices and mix it well.
  5. Let the mixture rise till oil released. Now, adding 2 cups of water into this mixture, let it boil an then add fried parwals and mix it well. Cover and again let it rise for the next 10 minutes.
  6. In last add 2 tbsp cream and mix it well and turn off the gas flame.
  7. So the Delicious Parwal Korma is ready serve.
